Acting Alters Reality
My actions, happenings and performances are concerned with the everyday aspects of human existence.
My own immediate needs are the inspiration for my works. Actions create an awareness of things.
I play with different realities in my areas of action in order to awaken the longings and fantasies of
passers-by or visitors. I surprise them with their own identity. In the main, I use public space as my playground.
It is the place between the buildings: an interface in which the people of a neighbourhood or a city
and tourists of different nationalities are able to encounter one another with freedom. Streets,
squares and pavements are a transit area in which I create fleeting moments of the «Other».
